Located in one of the busiest airspaces in the world, Teterboro airport presents
challenges to even the most experienced pilots.
Recently an FAA study indicated that some crews were experiencing deviations while
flying the Teterboro 5 instrument departure.
As the leading aviation training provider in the world FlightSafety International
has developed the Teterboro 5 Awareness Course to better prepare pilots around the world for this
challenging departure.
This course was designed to facilitate the understanding of such challenges and to provide
our expertise, backed by more than 50 years of experience in training aviation professionals.
In June of 2008 the FAA awarded Fabio Miguez, from FlightSafety International,
with the Team Spirit award for our participation in this industry-wide effort to mitigate risks.
